Make your dream garden a beautiful reality!  At this symposium, you’ll learn about the beautiful Monarch butterfly!  Create a “best-on-the-block” butterfly garden with these must-have perennial plants.  Embellish a beautiful garden or landscape with our containers and garden-art tips. Finally, learn how to preserve those beautiful flowers and scenes with keepsake photos.

Speaker Bios:
A lifelong monarch enthusiast and a teacher by training, Mireille Hess loves to educate others about the magnificent monarch. She recently returned from a trip to the monarch sanctuaries in Mexico and will be sharing ideas on how to attract and keep these beautiful creatures in your garden!

Nancy Nedveck of the Flower Factory Nursery brings her experience and knowledge of their over 2700 perennials in inventory. You’ll find just the flowers to give your garden a unique look!

Carlie Manthei is a veteran employee of Brenda’s Blumenladen. Her experience will help us discover the endless possibilities, must-have basics and be inspired by the latest trends in container gardening.

An active member in The Prairie Enthusiasts, Jerry Newman finds himself with a camera in hand while volunteering and working in his gardens.  Tips and learned techniques will be shared to Symposium participants.

To close out the program, Green County Master Gardener volunteers will share their expertise on making attractive garden embellishments!  Add another dimension to your garden with these fun exhibits!
