Hannah McMunn is the new Health and Well-Being Educator with Extension in Green and Lafayette Counties. She grew up in Verona, WI and graduated from Verona Area High School in 2011. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Hannah then went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in Public Health at Des Moines University and completed her degree in 2019. The past few years she has been working primarily in substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion. She also worked part-time at the children’s hospital in Des Moines working with families on childhood injury prevention and safety.
Hannah has always had a passion for health promotion and enjoys incorporating health and wellness into all areas of her life. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, hiking, camping, cooking, reading and crafting.
As the new Health and Well-Being Educator, Hannah will be focusing her programming on mental health promotion, substance misuse prevention, and other wellness topics such as active living and healthy eating. Hannah is looking forward to working in both Green and Lafayette Counties!
