Say Hello to our new staff at Extension Green County

Sydney Delzer is working as our 2022 Extension Green County Summer Intern. Sydney grew up on her family’s swine farm near South Wayne, and graduated from Black Hawk High School. She is currently pursuing a degree in agriculture education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Growing up, she was involved in everything possible, including sports, FFA, and everything in between. She was a member of the Browntown Busy Beavers 4-H Club and in 4-H enjoyed showing swine, dairy, and multiple projects in exhibition hall. Sydney will be coordinating the Master Showman, Premier Exhibitor, and Herdsmanship projects.

Brenna Aebly is our 2022 Extension Student Assistant. Brenna will be a senior this fall at Monroe High School, where she is involved in multiple clubs, track and volleyball. She also has been a Browntown Busy Beaver 4-H Club member since 1st grade. She has taken many different arts & craft projects, and has also shown rabbits and poultry. One of her favorite projects to do is keeping the tradition with her grandma making tie blankets with fabric they pick out together! Brenna looks forward to continuing to learn more things, meeting more incredible people, and supporting everyone at the Extension Green County office!

Katie Thurow is our NEW Extension Activity Assistant. Katie was involved in 4-H from a young age showing sheep and taking exhibits to Exhibition Hall. She learned a lot and made many friendships along the way. Katie is really excited now that her daughter is in 4-H and getting to experience all the wonderful things that 4-H has to offer. She is currently a co-leader for their 4-H club and has volunteered as a superintendent at the Green County Fair. She enjoys seeing the kids bring their exhibits they have worked hard on. She looks forward to meeting everyone and helping with your 4-H experience any way she can!
