Hands-On Crop Scout Training May 19 

Equip your summer interns and new hires for the 2026 season! UW–Madison Extension is hosting a Foundational Crop Scouting Training on Tuesday, May 19, at the Rock County Farm (10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.). 

This hands-on workshop covers growth staging, pest ID, and sampling techniques for corn, soy, wheat, and alfalfa. Registration is $50 and includes lunch plus a “Scout’s Starter Kit” with field staging guides. 

Space is limited—ensure your team collects accurate field data from day one.
