There will be a 4-H Fossil Dig at the Corner of County C/CC in Monticello, WI.

Some tools will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own. Rock Hammer or Brick Hammer are the preferred tool. Vaugn or Estwing are the recommended brand for these tools.  Ace Hardware and Bernies Rock Shop are good places to order these.  Other hardware stores may have some.  Wooden handled hammers are not recommended. We will provide some googles and vests, and all attendants will be required to wear the vests and diggers the goggles.
