The Dairy Herd Improvement Association (DHIA) of Green County offers various milk, blood, and pathogen testing services for dairy cattle. Also available is the monthly DHIA newsletter.

Soil testing through Rock River Laboratory. A soil probe can be checked out and sample collection bags are available at the Extension Office.

Resources such as LDP rates, PCP rates, and more can be found on the FSA website.

Free monthly webinars to provide research-based dairy information to improve animal welfare, breeding and genetic selection, automation and modernization, and nutritional decisions.

Research and resources relating to current dairy markets and policies, both statewide as well as on larger scales.

Jackie McCarville – Dairy Educator

Jackie joined Extension in 2017. Her dairy programming focuses on dairy production management including dairy calves and heifer management, animal husbandry and well-being, nutrition, and dairy x beef crosses to help dairy producers improve productivity, profitability, and efficiency while maintaining animal well-being.
