Registration costs (sorry no refunds) of $40 per person is due on or before February 23. After February 23, $45 per person is due. The Green County Master Gardeners symposium committee and members have been working to present a day full of learning and fund for garden enthusiasts, including door prizes and silent auction items.

Garden Inspirations For All Seasons Speakers
- Tonya Gratz has worked for the Green County Land and Water Conservation Department for 20 years. She helps farmers and landowners throughout Green County. Tonya is passionate about teaching people how to improve their soil- either in large crop fields or small gardens. She loves to garden and still has a lot to learn.
- Parker Havens, owner and operator of Havens Tree Care. Parker has a bachelors degree in Urban Forestry from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Parker is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, Wisconsin Arborist Association and the National Arbor Day Foundation. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator. “Trees are my passion.”
- Brian Hudelson, affectionately known as “Dr. Death”, is the director of the UW-Madison Plant Disease Diagnostics Clinic (PDDC). The PDDC provides expertise in diagnosing plant disease problems, and information on plant diseases and their control to a wide range of clientele throughout the state of Wisconsin and beyond.
- Ryan Carroll, Wisconsin native, and a multi-time State Track and Field Finalist. Ryan made his way to the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse to earn his degrees in Kinesiology and Nutrition. Ryan has trained and coached athletes at every level. He is the Director of Wellness and Life Enrichment for the New Glarus Home retirement facility.
- Heather Lynch, gardener, educator, and conservationist is passionate about local seasonal food and has dedicated her backyard to grow much of her own food. She is currently a Conservation Ambassador for the Women, Food and Agriculture Network/WFAN. Heather holds a degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a certified Wisconsin Master Gardener.
Green County Master Gardeners Association Scholarship Application
The Green County Master Gardeners Association (GCMGA) will award up to $1,000 in annual scholarships to graduates of Green County area high schools or Green County residents enrolled in secondary education. This includes students already attending college or a Technical College. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage individual to take advantage of continuing educational opportunities in agronomy, botany, horticulture, or a related field. Applicants may attend a four-year public, private college or a Technical College either within the state of Wisconsin or outside of the state. Information about the Green County Master Gardeners Association
The Wisconsin Master Gardener Program teaches volunteers who aid University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension Staff by helping people in the community better understand horticulture and their environment. The Green County Master Gardeners Association (GCMGA) is located in Monroe, Wisconsin and helps to serve the needs of all gardeners in Green County and the surrounding area.

The Green County Master Gardeners Association Mission is:
- To serve the needs of all gardeners in Green County and the surrounding area.
- To promote the continuing education of members through horticultural education, programs, tours, etc.
- To promote community service through volunteer activities.
- To recognize members who meet and maintain certification.
- To provide for the exchange of ideas and to provide opportunities to promote the understanding of responsible gardening practices.
- To provide a link between the community and the UW-Extension.
