2022 Shooting Sports Information
All fees and permission forms are due to the Extension Green County office by Friday, February 4, 2022 at 4:30pm.
Tips for a successful shooting sports project:
-Attend your event. Listen well, learn a lot, be safe and have fun.
-Take your targets home.
-Get your fair targets ready early.
-Make sure you are using the right size poster board.
-STAPLE your targets to the poster board.
-Please put your name and grade and fair lot # on the FRONT of your poster board. (Your score has already determined your place, we are just attaching ribbons at fair.)
-Remember to turn in your targets for Fair Premiums.
Hunters’ Education is required to participate in powder burning disciplines – shotgun, muzzle loader, .22 rifle and .22 pistol.
Classes can be taken in person or partially online/partially in person. Information can be found at the following link. https://gowild.wi.gov/customers/safetyedclass
Classes are added all the time, so if you don’t see a class that works for you, check back often.
