Join University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Regional Dairy Educator, Jackie McCarville, as she is hosting “Corn Silage Harvesting, Cover Crops, and Beef x Dairy Crossbred Animals” workshop on July 25th. Dr. Luiz Ferraretto, University of Wisconsin-Madison Ruminant Nutrition Extension Specialist, will speak on Corn Silage Harvesting Practices along with cover crop utilization. Bill Halfman, University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Beef Outreach Specialist, will speak on Beef x Dairy Cross Animals including results from a feedlot performance and carcass grade and yield data, budget tools discussion, and survey results from newborn calf care of beef x dairy animals.
